Step 1: Create your Widget
First thing you'll want to do, is head over to Pinterest. Once logged in, click the tool icon in the top right corner of your screen. Then select, 'Make a Widget'.
Step 2: Get the Code
A dialog box will pop-up. From here, you can see there is some HTML code and preview of the widget below that. This preview is how the widget will look.Copy the entire string of code and paste it wherever you want the widget to go. You will need to have access to the HTML of wherever you want to paste it. For instance, in WordPress you could make a new HTML widget and paste the code there to create your Pinterest widget.

Click, 'Learn more' in the top of the dialog box.You will then be taken to Pinterest Developers Widget Builder where you can create custom buttons and widgets to add to your website or app. The widget builder allows you to take more control of the look and functionality of your widget, such as size and what you want to showcase (a Pin, a Board or your Pinterest profile).
When selecting size, you can choose from Square, Sidebar, Header or Create your Own and see a preview of what it will look like below. Once you settle on the best widget for your website, scroll down the page and copy and paste the code to wherever you want your custom widget.
